Are you currently in a romantic relationship that you feel ambiguous about? Are you at the point where you are wondering whether you should stay or go?
The truth is, relationships are hard work. Sometimes they are worth fighting for and other times, you should run like hell.
But how do you know what the right decision is for you?
Don’t worry, I have no intention of playing a relationship expert today because the fact is when it comes to romantic relationships, I screw up a lot.
The good news is, I know someone who can help you.
So, let me introduce you to a wonderful friend and an amazing Dating & Relationship Specialist, Shay Banks. I had the pleasure of interviewing her about her new program, “Stay or Go” and let me tell you, she is the real deal!
Through trial and error, Shay figured out how to turn her terrible relationships into beautiful ones. She went from feeling undate-able and worthless to hot, sexy and in a fulfilling, happy relationship where she no longer wonders how he feels about her. Her man showers her with flowers, gifts and time.
Yes, I hear you. You want to know her secrets too!
Let’s hear it straight from the source. Below you will find our interview.
Tell me a little bit about yourself. Who is “Shay?” Why did you decide to become a relationship coach?
I like to think that I’ve been relationship coaching people my whole life. Every since I was really young, people came to me for love advice. I have this innate way of listening to what people really want and then shining a light on possibilities for them to take. I mainly became a relationship and dating coach to simply help women get out of their own way when it comes to attracting love.
As far as who I am…man, that’s such a broad question. I’m an adventurer, a knowledge seeker, an outspoken womanist, a dancer, a writer, a daughter, a spiritualist, and soo much more. I don’t know how to sum myself up into a few words.
What is the Stay or Go program?
Well, the “Stay or Go” program is an audio series that shows women step-by-step how to make a quick decision about their relationship. A lot of times when women are in turmoil about their relationships, the last person they want to ask are people they know. They need an outsider’s point of view. This program provides somewhat of an outside view and helps women get clear about what their next step should be.
What prompted you to create it?
On my blog, I talk a lot about puzzling male behaviors such as when a guy disappears, pulls away, or just seems less interested in the relationship. Those posts generate a lot of comments as well as a lot of questions emailed to me. Many times, those questions simply end with “Should I stay or should I go?” Because I’m an outsider looking in, it’s easy for me to see what actions a person should take. But that’s a little dis-empowering for the woman, don’t you think? You see, by asking me what she should do, she’s not trusting herself. And that to me is the biggest tragedy of all, a woman not trusting herself.
So I created a program where a woman can get clear about what action steps to take that support her and her particular situation. What’s great about this program is that it helps you get clear about almost every relationship, not just a romantic one.
What would be the benefits of the program?
Well, one main benefit is learning ways to trust your instincts. In today’s world we’re bombarded with so much activity and information that it can overwhelm your spirit. The exercises and worksheets that I take the women through in this program help them shut out the riff-raff and get in touch with themselves.
Another benefit is that this program helps women get clear super fast. I say they’ll get clear in 11 minutes because it’s true. From listening to the audios to doing the worksheets, their next step will become apparent in a matter of minutes. In fact one woman said she wishes she’d had this program when she ended her first marriage because she would’ve saved herself 3 years of “trying to make it work.”
Besides being quick and learning to get in touch with your intuition, it calms your nerves. As women, our biggest fear in relationships is “I don’t want to make a mistake.” It’s this one fear that keeps a lot of women in painful or lackluster relationships. They rationalize somebody is better than nobody. This program will help them get over this “I don’t want to make a mistake” factor when they listen to the What If Factor module.
How is this program delivered?
The program consists of 4 downloadable audio recordings that are no longer than 10 minutes in length. It also comes with a PDF Take Action Workbook and a Communication Guide.
What exactly do you get with the program?
In the program you’ll get specific steps to take that will get you the mental and emotional clarity you need to make a decision about your relationship. The 4 downloadable audio recordings and the PDF guides are provided to help you get crystal clear in no time.
What do you think is the number #1 reason why women can not make up their mind whether to stay or go?
There are a lot of reasons really. But I think there are three big reasons. One of the biggest reasons is that they’re scared. If this relationship ends, then it means they’re starting over from square one again. No woman wants to do that, I don’t care how old or young she is.
The second biggest reason is that they don’t trust themselves. There’s this part of them that says they should stay because there’s nothing better out there and there’s the part of them that says they should leave because there is something better out there. It’s this indecision that makes women just stay in lackluster and sometimes unfulfilling relationships.
The third reason is feeling like a failure. Women take pride in their relationships. When things don’t work out, they believe something is wrong with them or that they’re undate-able or unmarriage-able. Of course this isn’t true, but it doesn’t prevent a woman, even the most self-confident ones, from second guessing her worth as a woman. If you can resolve these 3 basic reasons for being unable to decide whether to stay or go, you can easily make a decision that will work for you.
What kind of results is this program having?
The biggest response I get is “You helped me gain so much clarity!” To cut through all of your mental clutter, emotional clutter, and self-doubt is a truly emotionally freeing experience. And until you have it, you won’t know what I mean. You’ll feel a freedom you’ve never known before.
More than anything the results were greatly helped by the Communication Guide. Some of the reason women get scared of making a decision is because they’re unsure as to how to express what they want to their man. The Communication Guide helps them overcome that barrier, whether they decide to stay or whether they decide to leave the relationship. This guide gives exact phrases to use. One lady said that the Communication Guide was “heaven sent.”
Anything else you want to add?
Yes, if any woman out there is unsure, stuck, or having doubts about her relationship, she should definitely check this program out. Life is way too short to waste another minute unsure about what to do with your man. If you realize that you should stay with your man after the program, that’s great. If you realize you should leave, that’s great too. But in the end, making a decision and sticking to it is essential for you happiness. You have to ask yourself, if you choose to NOT make a decision, how will you feel 3 months from now? If it’s anything other than over-the-moon happy, then clarity now will help you move towards your version of happy later.
