Often when we think about ovulation, we think of fertility. But ovulation is the very process by which life is sparked into this world. So why are we as women so unaware of this vital feminine energy within ourselves?
I think it is because in general we are uninformed about our bodies natural cycles and live in a culture where women’s ovarian energy is suppressed. As a result, women are often in the dark about when they ovulate. And few know it’s possible to harness this powerful sexual energy for benefit both in and out of the bedroom.
As women, ovulation awareness is our responsibility. And it starts with understanding the unique cyclical nature of our own bodies. We also must expand our consciousness around ovulation, thinking about it not just in terms of fertility but of creativity as well.
